The London Magento Users Group has produced a special networking event to nurture new products & services into the Magento marketplace:
Five startups will demonstrate & pitch their products, Dragon’s Den-style with a panel of Magento store experts. Followed by an Expo for the entrepreneurs to get your feedback, plus drinks & nibbles at the best Magento networking event in the UK.

1. Cloudinary: High performance images and video
Cloudinary gives Magento cutting-edge image capabilities. It saves costs on image creation & manipulation, gets images to market faster, reduces bandwidth costs, and speeds up Magento pages drastically.

Michael Mocatta: Founder of Neta Ventures, CCO and Co-Founder at StoreGecko. Michael has coached and mentored several start ups, taking them from Incorporation through to first rounds of funding and acceptance into UK or US based accelerators. He’s pitched to VCs and Angels on behalf of his clients, and has raised over $500k.
4. NearCollect: Click & collect delivery
NearCollect is solving the problem of missed parcel deliveries by allowing any Magento retailer to offer click & collect to their customers. Let shoppers have their parcels delivered to local businesses, to collect at a time that’s convenient to them.
Jack Finnegan: CEO of NearCollect. Jack has a background as a Business Analyst in retail, and has a BA in Management and a MSc in International Business. He has worked in logistics and ecommerce for Marks & Spencer and House of Fraser before launching NearCollect.
5. MageCloud: Cloud hosting and deployment
MageCloud was built to help store owners and Magento developers launch new Magento stores in less than 10 minutes by installing themes, extensions and deploying everything into the cloud hosting infrastructure.

Ivan Mazour is a Russian-born, London-based serial entrepreneur, investor and author. He is the CEO and Founder of Ometria – a predictive analytics and marketing platform built specifically for retailers, letting them use data to increase revenues and provide an improved customer experience. Ometria is his seventh company, in a career spanning various industries from property to education.
